Massage Therapy

Massage therapy at Cor Maximus, with 1 of our Registered Massage Therapists, should be an important component of an overall health maintenance plan.  It can assist you with reducing muscular tension, reducing pain and inflammation, improving joint mobility and improving circulation.

Massage therapy appointments are available for 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes or 90 minutes.

Kristina Green R.M.T.

After obtaining her high school diploma here in North Bay, Kristina continued her education at College Boreal in Sudbury. Following graduation from the 3 year Massage Therapy program in June 2010, she  joined the Cor Maximus team in November 2010.

Kristina has been trained in a variety of techniques including  relaxing Swedish massage, hot stone massage and deep tissue massage.  She is eager to offer excellent massage therapy care to her clients through comprehensive treatment plans which obtain positive results.

Marissa Coombs, R.M.T

After obtaining her High School Diploma from Franco Cite in Sturgeon Falls, Marissa went on to post secondary education at College Boreal where she completed the 3 year Massage Therapy program in June 2015.
During this time she worked alongside Varsity teams providing Sports Massage for volleyball and swimming athletes.  She has trained in Swedish, deep tissue, therapeutic, pregnancy, infant and postoperative massage.  Marissa has had the opportunity to work in interdisciplinary clinics where she has learnt the importance of team based therapy for the benefit of client care.
Marissa aims to provide care focused on pain relief, rehabilitation, recovery from injury and relief of aches and pains that limit activities of daily living.  She loves problem solving and is looking forward to creating personalized treatment plans for her clients at Cor Maximus.

Hailee Valtins, R.M.T.

After obtaining her Bachelor of Physical Education in Health Promotions with honors from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Hailee was inspired to know more.  Her interest in the human body, human movement and helping people fueled her to learn more.  she proceeded with her education obtaining her diploma in Massotherapie at College Boreal.
Since registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in 2013, Hailee has had the honor to travel and work in many interdisciplinary clinics all throughout the country and the world.
Thorough assessment, individual and personalized treatment plans and remedial exercises are all encompassed in her treatments.  Hailee is confident in her abilities, having gained experience and knowledge working with a vast array of clients, conditions and injuries.  She will work with you to ensure positive and effective results.
